The National Archives

When we went to the D.C we saw the National Archives. We saw the Magma Carta. There are 2 Magma Cartas the Archives have the late one. If you go there it is dark because light damages the paper. If you go there you are going to see the 3 main documents

1. The Constitution







2. The Bill of Rights







3. The Declaration of Independence

The Declaration of Independence was written on lamb skin parchment paper. If you see The Constitution you will be able to see the first 10 Amendments. You might be able to see the words written on it but I highly doubt it. The only words you can see are

• "In Congress July 4,1776"

That is why you should go to the National Archives.
